Here is a PDF version of the Core Rules. These are the
rules that apply for all games in all milieux. It includes such items as:
- the combat system
- mundane creatures
- universal skills
- character generation rules
- common psychic skills
- fatigue and injury rules
You can't play Pathwanderer without this. You can play without a World
Unit (although you'd have to make one up), but without this, you are not
playing Pathwanderer.
There will one day be a downloadable and online HTML version. This will
take some time because it is not easy to turn Word documents into
reasonably sized HTML documents. The 'Export to compact HTML' option is
very good, but the file size is far too large for current web
technologies.
Each section is around 500KB - 900KB, and is a zipped PDF file. You will
therefore need either WinZip or a similar utility, and Adobe Acrobat
Reader, which is available free from Adobe's website -
www.adobe.com.
